Cornwall College despite higher than average academic achievements needed to change it’s current perception as a low-achievers college. After a thorough exploration of the current brand and a visual audit of the marketing collateral our re-brand and advertising campaign directly challenged peoples’ preconceptions of the college.
Changing perceptions: Brand communications
The resulting case-study driven advertising championed the success stories and high achievers, complemented with thought provoking headlines and a drive towards university accredited courses.
The campaign was quickly followed by refreshing all the main college material from prospectus to the main website. The uptake of university level courses showed a 30% year on year increase.
Our objective was to bring the brand energy established through the new prospectus’ onto the website as well as creating a style that was appealing to the vast audience that would use the website.
We worked with the College in-house programming team to create a visually appealing site with intuitive navigation and a host of features that are continually being added to.
Cornwall College asked us to create a campaign that communicated that there was more to Cornwall College than you think. With more support from tutors, more choice in courses and more opportunity from post graduate schemes Cornwall College wanted to shout loudly about their offer.
The More campaign has evolved from it’s original graffiti style graphics to a kaleidoscope of people holding More balls. Who knows where it will go next.
