Our marketing for this award winning attraction conveys a multitude of seasonal offers using a flexible graphic system that can be quickly applied. Our identities for Life on the Rocks and Under the Sea are vibrant and family friendly and easy to adapt from a banner to bus side advert. The guide book is richly illustrated by the Gendall team providing facts and figures in an easy to digest format that is rewarding and informative.

Exhibition and interpretation

Life on the Rocks is a fascinating exhibition charting the history of lighthouses. The stories combine the factual and social challenges of these unique buildings, from the magnificent feats of engineering to the experience of isolation and extreme conditions experienced by the keepers.


Our first challenge was to create a strong identity and marketing that created anticipation and intrigue. Working within a tight budget and fixed deadline we then defined a strong graphic theme complemented by a clear layout and information hierarchy for the core exhibition. The dramatic interpretation graphics and engaging interactives make a truly nostalgic
and exciting journey.

 

The ‘Endurance & Survival’ exhibition captures the incredible stories behind their achievements and those of less well known adventurers. All have endured and survived, in a personal challenge to achieve their goal; often in the face of extreme danger. Our task was to design an exhibition to convey the adrenalin adventure and showcases British determination and creativity.
