With nearly three decades of innovation in the lighting and fibre optic markets, the Optoelectronic Manufacturing Corporation were looking for a complete rebranding and overhaul of their communications.
Working with Designing Demand, the Design Council's SME mentoring programme, we created and rolled out a fresh new brand that reflects the engineering excellence of the company and it's products.
With a can-do attitude and high level of expertise, OMC's core offering had grown to incorporate both B2B and B2C products with applications across a broad range of sectors.
We worked through the brand and information architecture, placing over 45 products and components into easily extended, SEO friendly, customer focussed sections. With each product tagged by sector, appplication and category, the site gives a great foundation for future development in a fast moving, competitive market. The addition of an 'enquiry cart' gives users a simple way of generating product requests.
The clean, dramatic design is augmented by a new range of photographs covering both the products and candid shots of the site, staff and manufacturing processes.
