Launched in 2003, The Grain has been producing bespoke signage solutions for clients such as Longleat, National Trust, BBC, Ask and M&S. The Grain’s brief was to create a new website which would increase enquiries and be simple to update, allowing them to be much more dynamic in presenting the company’s product range.
As well as delivering a strong design, we wanted to deliver a return on investment. Since the launch of the site, The Grain has seen the conversion rate of enquiries increased by 62.5% and the overall quality of enquiry has also increased.
The website has been built using open source content management software, WordPress and is responsive for use on both tablet and mobile devices. As part of the project, Gendall also advised The Grain to become more active on Social Media, setting up both a Twitter and Instagram account to help raise brand awareness and increase website visitors.
The Grain co founder, Pete Ratcliffe, said, “Aligning with a partner who knows us, who gets what we are all about, makes our relationship a valuable one. The website has been a key driving force in attracting new business for us including a large global contracts for Come on Casino. We are also seeing a 15% increase in more traffic to the site which is great considering we are not using any ad campaigns or external advertising. The timeless and clean design effectively showcases the work we do and builds a confidence in our brand.”
